After graduating from Furman University with a B.S. in geology, I spent 13 years working as an Environmental Geologist. I then began a series of career transitions that led me to realize my passion for teaching. This year begins my 21st year in the field of education, and I am excited to be teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Freshman Success at GMC. When I am not at work, I am likely to be found riding my mountain bike, paddling whitewater, or sitting on a rock by the river marveling at the majesty of God’s creation. My border collie, Jed, is my faithful adventure companion.
