Greer Middle College (GMC) is grateful for the opportunities that our Greenville location affords us. To show our appreciation, our teachers and students are thankful to be able to serve the greater Greenville community. In an effort to teach our students civic responsibility and a sense of empathy for others, GMC requires our students to volunteer at least 50 hours of community service per year for a total of 200 hours upon graduation.
Because they gain personally from helping others, many of our students exceed this requirement.
We have seen the positive effects of this effort in our students, our school environment, and the community in general. We at GMC look forward to continued opportunities to serve.
