Welcome to the 2016 – 2017 school year at GMC! This course is a language arts course for high school juniors designed to prepare students for the demands of two- or four-year college degree programs and for the workplace.  Selections in American literature are organized chronologically and are related to the growth of America as a nation. Grammar is studied in light of composition problems. The study of composition includes the development of the multi-paragraph essay, research, and imaginative writing.
