Cameron Cook

Mr. Cook’s Bio:

ccook
Mr. Cook hails from several regions of South Carolina. He grew up on the ocean in Beaufort, got very, very hot in Columbia, and graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton. After his years as an undergraduate, where he majored in Creative Writing, Film Studies, and English, he got married and moved to Spartanburg, where he completed an MAT program at Converse College. Between his undergraduate and graduate degrees, Mr. Cook spent a few years working on movie and television sets, ending up on the set of the first Hunger Games film as well as the set of Homeland. Mr. Cook recently wrote, directed, produced, and edited a feature film, and his short stories have been published in national literary journals.
However, while he enjoys the arts, Mr. Cook most loves teaching literature. From the totally bonkers plots of The Canterbury Tales to the odd family trees of William Faulkner, Mr. Cook is obsessed with the English language’s amazing breadth of literature.
