Each student at Greer Middle College meets weekly with his/her Blazer Block advisory group. Blazer Blocks are divided by grade level and each adult in the school is responsible for an advisory group. In Blazer Block, students discuss topics relevant to themselves, their peers, and the school. These topics range from character building to academic success. The advisor serves as an adult in the school who is the student’s advocate. Blazer Block often becomes a close-knit group of students and adults who support and help each other navigate the high school experience.
